Neighborhoods throughout Lodi are being invited to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the Annual National Night Out crime/drug prevention event. From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m, residents throughout the nation are asked to lock their doors, turn on outside lights, and spend the evening outside with neighbors and police.

If you would like to block off your street for this event, the fees and insurance requirements are being waived. However, encroachment permits (PDF) for the block party are still required through the Lodi Public Works Department. If you have any questions about street closures, please contact Public Works at 209-333-6706.
Per the City’s Risk Manager, “jumpers/bouncers” style apparatus are not allowed on City Streets. If a jumper is desired, it must be on private property.
