Under the Fire Chief is a Deputy Fire Chief and four Battalion Chiefs. One Battalion Chief is the Fire Marshall, while the other three oversee a suppression shift. 


As the incidents and the equipment needed in the Fire Service become more complex, so has the Lodi Fire Department. Lodi currently has four Fire Stations located strategically throughout the City of Lodi to provide the most effective and efficient coverage to citizens.

The Lodi Fire Department has a diverse pool of specialized equipment to meet the ever changing needs. Among the equipment is a HazMat response vehicle, Mobile Operation Center, and Public Education Trailer.
